Germans specialized in creating awesome super saloons and super wagons. After all, Audi’s RS line, BMW’s M line and Mercedes’ AMG line of cars did prove they definitely are the best in business. Now, German tuner Wimmer tried to go the extra mile with its tuning of the Mercedes-AMG C63 Wagon. Or should we just call it the super wagon!? Yes, it is green, but don’t be mad about it as it only has that matte foil wrap.
Much more important than that is the comprehensive tuning job Wimmer Rennsporttechnik did with the Wagon. While the standard four-liter engine certainly has enough punch with 510hp and 516 lb-ft of torque, Wimmer wanted to up the power and make the C63 S Wagon play in the same ballpark with the best supercars of today. As it is heavier compared to any supercar, it had to get more power as well. Upgrading two turbochargers, the cooling system, injectors and the ECU helped release quite a bit of power. This tune up required Wimmer to change the stock fuel pump and intercooler. New, the higher capacity water pump had to be added as well. Just to cope with all the additional heat the four liter radiates with.
